Mount video or strobe lights on underwater photography trays, handles, or bridge bars with Beneath the Surface's versatile 12" Flex Arm with Quick-Disconnect Base and Universal Mount. The universal mount can hold any round or oblong light measuring 0.75-1.25" in diameter. Featuring quick-disconnect bases for both male screw and female threaded attachment options, this arm works with any arm adapter, tray, handle, or bridge bar that accepts the base's 1/4"-20 thread size. It allows flexible positioning of the light while shooting underwater, giving you a variety of possible lighting angles and positions.

A built-in safety cable that runs through the entire arm ensures that you will never lose your valuable lighting equipment even if you accidentally disconnect the arm. The flex arm joints can be securely popped back into place while underwater. Additionally, the quick-disconnect mount allows you to switch effortlessly between various other flex arms with a quick-disconnect base. Machined out of solid Delrin bar stock, this item is made and assembled in the U.S.A.

It can be used with any camera, housing, or tray-and-grip system that has a BtS quick-disconnect mount. The arm's extreme flexibility allows you to set up your lights in a wide variety of positions and play around with different angles and creative effects.

A built-in safety cable that runs through the entire arm ensures you will never lose your valuable equipment, even if you accidentally disconnect the arm. Additionally, the flex arm joints can be reattached underwater if one of them pops out of place.

Beneath the Surface 12" Flex Arm for Bigblue Dive Light

Increase your creative lighting possibilities with this Beneath the Surface 12" Flex Arm, which has a 1/2" diameter and allows for the mounting of a Bigblue dive light. The arm has no base and attaches to an underwater camera housing tray, bridge bar, or grip handle by way of an optional 1/4", 5/16", or 8.0 mm screw. It is lightweight and extremely versatile, bending this way and that to enable you to position your light in various places and at various angles.

Built for durability, the arm is made in the USA and features ends and a light mount that are machined out of solid Delrin bar stock. The arm offers a built-in, 1/16", vinyl-coated stainless steel safety cable that runs through the entire 12" length, ensuring that you will not lose your valuable lighting equipment--even if you accidentally disconnect the arm. To attach the light, first remove its ball mount if one is present. Using the hardware and wrench provided, attach the light to the arm with the 4mm x 16mm cap screw with the lock washer and the flat washer. Add a small amount of Blue Loctite #242 to the thread before installing the screw.

Sola lights are attached onto the flex arm using the optional Sola Video LocLine Mount Kit. It allows flexible positioning of the light while shooting underwater, giving you a variety of possible lighting angles and positions.

For mounting all Sola dive lights except 3000, 8000, 9600 and 1500 models onto underwater arm adapters, trays, grip handles or bridge bars that accept 1/4"-20 thread size. Mounting a Sola GoBe light requires the optional YS-ended arm from Beneath the Surface with a Sola YS adapter.

Attaches to the Sola light using the optional Sola Video LocLine Mount Kit, and allows for flexible positioning of the light while shooting underwater.
